Authorities in Hamden, Ohio have rescued 16 children from a severely deteriorated home. The children were confined to a single room for much of the past four years and lived in horrendous conditions.

The Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail provided images of the arrested individuals: Gary Siders Sr., Christine Siders, Elizabeth Siders, and Gary Siders Jr. Items shown in the photos include a broken window, a gas can, and a bowl of dog food on the side porch. Police tape surrounds the property, marking the scene as part of an ongoing investigation.

This unsettling situation has drawn attention to the critical need for child protective services and the pressing issue of child welfare. The community now awaits the outcome of the investigation, with hopes for a safe and healthier future for the rescued children.
