Unwind after work with dinner from four unique food trucks, including Wagyu House by The X Pot, Chkn Box, and Polombia. The event also features live music covering genres like Motown, Brazilian jazz, and popular party hits. This takes place from 5-8 p.m. on Thursdays through July at Roosevelt Collection, 150 W. Roosevelt Road.
‘The Chicago Way’ Q&A and Signing
Join chef Carrie Nahabedian and Sparrow beverage director Peter Vestinos for a delightful afternoon with journalist Monica Eng. They will host a Q&A with Michael Gebert, discussing “The Chicago Way: An Oral History of Chicago Dining.” An autographed copy of the book is part of the $50 ticket.
This event takes place from 1-4 p.m. on June 8 at Brindille, 534 N. Clark St.
Chicago Cocktail Classic
Celebrate the second year of the Chicago Cocktail Classic, gathering over 30 bars from across the globe, including Bar Mauro from Mexico City and Superfine from Paris. Local spots like Meadowlark and Nine Bar also serve mini cocktails. Tickets cost $100 and provide 10 drink tokens.

Up South Pop-Up

Sanders BBQ x Mahari
Get a sneak peek at Sanders BBQ Prime with chef James Sanders and chef Rahim Muhammad of Mahari. They will serve signature brunch dishes in a BYOB setting. Tickets cost $75 and the event is from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 14 at Mahari, 1504 E. 55th St.
Bario BBQ
Celebrate Mexico’s grilling traditions with dishes from Manchamanteles, Diego, Pizza Lobo, and Santa Masa Tamaleria. The event supports the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights and serves dishes like birria tacos and cochinita pibil tamal. The tasting is from 4-7 p.m. on June 14 at 2009 N. Western Ave. with $69 tickets.
Cravings on Clark
Explore more than a dozen Lincoln Park restaurants at a crawl by the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce. Restaurants like The Fat Shallot and Tanaka Ramen offer signature bites. Tickets range from $55-$65 for the crawl happening from 6-9 p.m. on June 24, beginning at Briny Swine Smokehouse & Oyster Bar, 2577 N. Clark St.
Malt Row on Damen
Sample drinks from various breweries and distilleries, including Cultivate by Forbidden Root and Gnome Brew. The stroll also includes stops at places like Amy’s Candy Bar. Tickets are $32 for the event occurring from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on June 24 along Damen Avenue between Wilson Avenue and Argyle Street.
Chicago’s Taste of the Nation
Join more than 50 restaurants, including Obelix and Girl & the Goat, for an event benefiting No Kid Hungry. The event includes cooking demos, mixology showcases, and a chance to win a wine cellar.
