Ms. Rachel, known off-screen as Rachel Accurso, has emerged as a major figure in children’s entertainment. Her YouTube channel, ‘Songs for Littles,’ which she started with her husband, Aron Accurso, has garnered over 17.2 billion views since its inception in 2019.
From Humble Beginnings
The channel began with simple home videos made to support their son with a speech delay. These videos were filmed using makeshift equipment like stacked books and a pop-up green screen. Aron, a Broadway composer, noted they never anticipated such success. Their small project evolved into a renowned children’s entertainment and education platform worth millions.
Expanding Presence
Ms. Rachel’s presence is rapidly expanding. She can be found in books, on Netflix, in toy stores, and soon, she will release an album titled ‘I’m So Happy’ on September 25. This 23-song album combines original music, children’s favorites, and traditional nursery rhymes, aiming to enrich children’s musical experiences. ‘We think kids deserve rich, thought-out music,’ Ms. Rachel shared, emphasizing real instruments to inspire young listeners.
Advocacy and Public Challenges
Ms. Rachel has also become an advocate for children in conflict zones such as Gaza, Ukraine, and Sudan. She leverages her large platform to raise awareness about the needs of children in these areas. This advocacy, however, has drawn her into complex public debates. In 2025, she faced accusations of antisemitism, which were later deemed unfounded.
Despite the challenges, Ms. Rachel remains committed to her mission. Her dedication to children’s welfare and education guides her work, aiming to ensure all children have safe homes and necessary resources.
