Tessa Blanchard Joins Major League Wrestling, Enhancing Women’s Division

Pro wrestler Tessa Blanchard has signed with Major League Wrestling (MLW), strengthening the women’s division. Her arrival follows the recent addition of Lady Frost, as she spoke about this development in an interview with OutKick Dropkick.

Lady Frost signed with MLW in April 2026. “First of all, it’s an incredible signing,” she stated. “We understand the pedigree that comes with Tessa Blanchard, and everyone will want to up their game even more.”

Lady Frost has previously shared the ring with Tessa Blanchard during tours in Mexico and highlighted the business benefits. MLW announced Blanchard’s debut appearance at Fightland on September 12 in Charleston, South Carolina.

Tessa Blanchard, who has competed in CMLL, expressed her commitment in a media release. “Heavy is the crown, but legacy isn’t handed to you. It’s forged under pressure,” she emphasized. “I’ve earned my place among the best, but I’m not joining MLW to rest on the Blanchard name.” MLW aims to deliver some of the purest and hardest-hitting action, with Blanchard the ‘Undeniable Diamond’ fitting right at the forefront.

Blanchard carries a rich legacy as a third-generation pro wrestler, being the daughter of Tully Blanchard and granddaughter of promoter Joe Blanchard. Magnum T.A. is her stepfather.

Frost mentioned she doesn’t rank MLW’s women’s division compared to others, finding the roster “stacked.” “I do the fighting,” she remarked on OutKick Dropkick, leaving it to the fans to decide.
