Every Sunday, demonstrators convene near the ACME Hot and Fresh T-shirt store, expressing their dissent on various issues. The protests evoke mixed reactions, including supportive horn honks and opposing jeers. David Sauter, co-owner of Hot and Fresh, describes a surge in demand for Algerian team merchandise. “Everybody wants an Algerian shirt in Lawrence,” he notes.
