Christian Bale Praises Daughter Luka’s Modeling and Photography Skills

Christian Bale recently expressed his pride in his daughter Luka’s blossoming modeling career during the premiere of his latest film, Madden, in Los Angeles on November 4. Bale highlighted Luka’s talents, describing her as “incredibly talented as a photographer and as a model herself.” At 21, Luka has already made a mark by featuring in the prestigious Dolce & Gabbana shows, including their 2025 Alta Moda presentation.

Bale shares Luka and a 12-year-old son with his wife, Sibi Bale, a former model. At the premiere, he discussed his daughter’s future potential, saying he could see her directing films one day, praising her “amazing mind” and “incredible visions.”

The actor shared his immense pride for Luka, joking that he would behave better on set for her than anyone else. Despite the public praise, Bale has typically kept his family life private, occasionally speaking about fatherhood in interviews. In a 2010 Esquire interview, before his son was born, Bale expressed pride in his family.

He mentioned in 2012 to British GQ that he wouldn’t miss his daughter’s growing years, prioritizing time with her over any acting gig. Bale humorously pointed out the challenge of being an actor-dad, unsure if any father’s kids ever enjoy watching their parent on screen.

During a conversation with PEOPLE in December 2022, Bale mentioned that although Luka and her brother don’t frequently watch his films, they encouraged him to participate in Thor: Love and Thunder. Bale hopes they will appreciate his work more as they grow older, acknowledging the typical father-actor dilemma.
