Cassie Ventura’s Testimony in Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ Trial

3 weeks ago 0

Cassie Ventura left the United States after participating as a star witness in Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ trial. She testified for four days in relation to the sex crimes charges against Diddy. Recently, she filed a motion to move a legal case to New York involving former male escort Clayton Howard.

Cassie, 39, is mentioned in a lawsuit filed by Howard who alleged ‘sexual exploitation, trafficking, and abuse’ for ten years at the hands of Diddy and his ex-girlfriend. Cassie seeks to transfer Howard’s case to New York, where several similar cases against Diddy are active.

Cassie received a $20 million settlement after filing a sexual abuse suit against Diddy in November 2023. The case was settled the following day. She explained that many related cases reside in New York, making it a more convenient location for these proceedings.

“Plaintiff is a resident of New Jersey and can easily travel to New York City,” said the documents. “Ms. Ventura does not reside in the United States, but it is more convenient for her to travel to New York than California. The corporate defendants are both incorporated in New York.”

Cassie has testified to her experience with Diddy, stating he raped her in 2018. Subsequently, she pursued rehabilitation and trauma therapy early in 2023 due to flashbacks.

During May 2025, she also claimed a forthcoming $10 million settlement from the InterContinental Hotel, the location of a prior assault. Evidence showcased Diddy’s alleged violence against her there.

This high-profile trial concluded with Diddy found not guilty of racketeering and sex trafficking but convicted on lesser charges related to transportation for prostitution. His sentence spans over four years, currently being served at FCI Fort Dix, with a scheduled release in February 2028.
