Sharon Osbourne paid tribute to her late husband, Ozzy Osbourne, on their 46th wedding anniversary. Sharon took to social media and expressed love for the Black Sabbath frontman, who passed away at 76 on July 22, 2025.
“Today would have been our 46th wedding anniversary,” Sharon shared alongside a heartfelt photo of the couple holding hands. “Instead, it is a celebration of a love that even death could not diminish. I miss your hand in mine, but I carry your love with me every step of the way. Forever my husband. Forever my heart.”
Following Sharon’s post, she received support from friends and fans. Nicole Scherzinger and other celebrities expressed their love and support in the comments. Carrie Ann Inaba shared how a digital photo frame often selects images from Ozzy’s birthday, showcasing their love.
The couple’s story dates back to the early 1970s. After Ozzy’s departure from Black Sabbath in 1979, Sharon took on the role of his manager, boosting his successful solo career. They married in 1982 in Maui, Hawaii, and had three children together: Aimee, Kelly, and Jack. Over the decades, they faced a range of challenges including addiction and health issues.
Their unique relationship dynamic gained fame through MTV’s “The Osbournes,” which offered a glimpse into their family life. Sharon’s unwavering support for Ozzy continued until his death.
Reflecting on her parents’ anniversary, Kelly Osbourne wrote an emotional note to Sharon, expressing the deep love present in the family. She conveyed how Ozzy’s love continues to offer warmth and comfort to Sharon.
“I hope you know that love like yours doesn’t end when a life does,” Kelly wrote. “It changes shape. Daddy may no longer walk beside you, but he will never stop walking with you.”
Kelly assured her mother of her strength and resilience, qualities that Ozzy admired. She reinforced the support Sharon has from family during difficult days.
A statement issued at the time of Ozzy’s death highlighted that he was surrounded by family and love. A memorial with large floral tributes took place at his mansion. Ozzy faced several health issues, revealing a Parkinson’s diagnosis in 2022.
In a past column, Ozzy shared his thoughts on planning his funeral, expressing a desire for it to be a celebration rather than somber. He wanted fun elements included, such as playful sounds from the coffin.
Osbourne emphasized the importance of planning to spare loved ones from burden. Despite life’s hardships, Ozzy felt gratitude for his experiences, especially as a rock star.
