Tim Allen on Longevity of His Marriage to Jane Hajduk

Tim Allen has shared insights into his nearly 20-year marriage to Jane Hajduk. During an interview with Us Weekly, Allen emphasized the importance of humor in their relationship.

“I think a sense of humor saves us so many times,” said Allen.

Allen and Hajduk married in 2006. He reminisced about an amusing moment with Hajduk during a discussion about their daughter, Elizabeth.

Despite their differences, Allen and Hajduk find common ground. Allen spoke highly of Hajduk’s athleticism and his participation in her Catholic faith.

Allen noted:

“We’re very different people. She’s a very good athlete and got me involved in training, and she’s a staunch Catholic, and I joined her with that.”

The couple began their relationship in 2001 and married in a private ceremony in Grand Lake, Colorado. Their daughter, Elizabeth Allen-Dick, was born in 2009. Allen’s previous marriage brought him another daughter, Katherine.

New Activities to Keep the Spark Alive

The couple has embraced new hobbies. In 2024, Hajduk told People about their involvement in stretching exercises.

“Our new activity is stretching,” she shared.

Allen and Hajduk emphasize communication as a key component of their successful marriage:

“We talk,” Hajduk told People, with Allen adding, “That’s right, we talk. We do. And we’re good buddies.”
