U.S. Vice President Vance Criticizes French Protest Handling

5 hours ago 0

U.S. Vice President JD Vance has voiced strong criticism of recent violent protests in France. He accused ‘western liberals’ of bringing about the unrest by ‘importing the third world.’ Vance warned that Democrats in the U.S. aim for a similar future.

The protests, marked by violence, fires, and looting, erupted in response to rising living costs and substandard school conditions. Demonstrations on Saturday involved hundreds of thousands of marchers throughout France. According to Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez, approximately 550,000 people participated in 110 marches. Nationwide, around 400 people faced arrest.

Numerous shops and a municipal police station sustained damage during the chaos. In Limoges, city hall, a historical building from 1873, was set aflame in the riots.

Vance shared footage of the Limoges fire on social media, commenting: ‘Western liberals brought the third world into France and others in the name of diversity and compassion. They overlooked crucial issues of assimilation and compatibility. They were warned about these outcomes, but they did not heed the advice.’

‘I pray for France, a nation of incredible people, to end this chaos before more landmarks get destroyed,’ Vance continued. ‘I urge Americans to take note. This is the future congressional Democrats want for your nation.’
