The WNBA marked its 30th season by hosting the All-Star Game in Chicago, a first since 2022. The game, held on Saturday night, was filled with action as Team Spoon triumphed over Team Coop with a 129-122 victory.

Jonquel Jones delivered an impressive performance, scoring 22 points with 13 rebounds and eight assists, earning her the Most Valuable Player award. The game highlighted high-scoring plays and featured 127 three-point attempts. Allisha Gray added 19 points for Team Spoon, while Caitlin Clark contributed 17.

A record crowd of 19,783 fans gathered at the United Center, home to the Chicago Bulls, to witness the annual event. Earlier, the 3-point contest and Shooting Stars competition took place at the nearby Wintrust Arena.

One of the night’s highlights was a milestone dunk by Dominique Malonga, assisted by Atlanta Dream’s Angel Reese. Malonga, a 6-foot-6 center from the Seattle Storm, became the seventh player in league history to dunk in an All-Star Game. At 20, she is the youngest to do so in the event’s history.
